Dear Girl,
I don’t know your name, but I see you there, sitting in the booth across from me, browsing that screen with earbuds in, wearing that hat, backwards and a little askew.
I hold my phone in front of my face so I can stare at you around the display. You’re eating a hummus plate and a latte, both almost gone. Have you been here long?
I watch your eyes flicker from side to side, no doubt reading, no doubt something cool. to match the attitude with which you wear that hat. so bold yet effortless on your head. reflected in the way you’re leaning in your seat, lounging as if at home.
I can see that you’re getting ready to leave, packing up your things, stacking your plates and such, but before you go i’d like you to know that i’d enjoy if you came over here and talked to me. Because even though your hat caught my attention, your face kept it.
oooooh this is cute
